2010 Games Thread: Still 2 years until the end of the world! Let's play Games!

As 2009 draws to a close, like every year before it, and it was a pretty slow year for the gaming industry. 2010 however is shaping up to be a year that puts some serious butt-hurt on your wallet. Yes I mean the industry will brutally rape us in our behind parts and take our money... And we'll love every minute.

Let's take a look at the first 3 months of next year.

Guys feel free to add any games I miss as I'm not sure I got everything laid out here.

Let's start our day off with my favorite... XBOX 360! Also any multi-system games will be listed in the 360 section.

360:

Mass Effect 2 - January, 26th:



Sequel to Mass Effect and number 2 in the announced trilogy. Mass Effect was toted as one of the greatest RPGs of the next gens. Will Mass Effect 2 be just as good, or will it fall into the "Eh it was an ok game..." category that many sequels fall into? Only time will tell.

Alan Wake - Still no formal date:



This game has been in development forever. Set in a small town in the format of a television show... Will this game be deserving of all the hype?

Darksiders - January 5th:



Video explains a lot. Game looks good.

Bayonetta - Jan. 5th:



Female witch assassin thing? Fuck yeah.

Army of Two: 40th Day - Jan. 12th:



That wisecrackin duo of mercenaries is back again. Looks to be much of the same, so if you enjoyed the first, you'll probably enjoy this.

Dark Void - Jan. 19th:



I don't know much about this game other than it's like some Demigod types got banished from our world, and now they're back and pissed.

Dante's Inferno - Feb. 9th:



This game has gotten massive amounts of hype already. Looks like a devil may cry style beat em up... IN HELL! Loosely based off Dante's Inferno.

Bioshock 2 - Feb. 9th:



This time we're strappin in as big daddy. Set some time after the first game. Sequel to one of the hottest games on the 360.

Final Fantasy XIII - March 9th:



Highly anticipated. Game looks gorgeous. I'm sure no explanation is needed. 1 Question still remains though... Will they ever remaster FFVII with gorgeous and amazing... Ahh nevermind.

Metro 2033 - Q1, so it has to be by the end of march right?:



Survival Horror FPS in a post-apocalyptic world. That's definitely original... LOL.

Super Street Fighter IV - Q1:



New characters, much of the same game. Worth it? You decide. The World Warriors are back and they brought more friends. I'm obligated to buy this one because when IV came out I said "I'll buy and play that fucking game when they put Guy and Cody in it." Fuck you capcom.

I think that's a pretty good start for now. Need to take a little break.
