Vista is in a much better place than it was when it first launched. Netbook owners are the main group that will see a notable speed increase over Vista. Don't get me wrong, I like Windows 7 (I'm tri-booting with Ubuntu and Snow Leopard). But I can't believe anybody thinks it's worth what Microsoft is charging for it.

I have to agree with you and Gekko on this topic.

I just have this feeling that a lot of people are jut buying into the hype of windows 7, but I've yet to see or hear about a worthwhile upgrade included in this OS.

And Vista is not buggy on unstable anymore, it was just that way when it launched. I had XP up until a year ago and switched to Vista.. and have yet to have even one issue with it.
