I had a previous name of thehtownpoption. Wasn't that fun? Then I changed my name to something that made me feel like less of a douche and more of a nerd. Much better IMO.

But, Shooter? I hardly remember him. I've been off and on this forum and have never posted much anyway, but have always been slightly jealous of people that knew each other well on here.

Sad thing? I've been here since soon after the codename Nintendo Dolphin was announced, which according to this ancient IGN article, must have been sometime after May 4, 1999, and I have fewer posts than most new members that stick around get in a month.

Anyone know exactly when NintendoDolphin.net was first put up? We should celebrate it's tenth birthday whenever that is, which should be sometime soon.

I had 2 other names besides Bube - Bub64 and Bube77, both registered because I had trouble logging in and had to register a new name to accept the login cookie

Weird times. Then everything went back to normal and I got Bube back

And yes, I've been in Turkey the whole time

Sooo this is my completely ignorant guess of what life is like in Turkey compared to the U.S., but was having internet access common in Turkey back in 1999?

Definitely not as common, or cheap, as it was right now, but yes, it was common. I had been going online at home for 2 years before I found nintendodolphin.net.

Although it will probably never compare with the US, in both categories

And yeah NDose lineage is coming up on 10 years, I believe I joined in like Dec 99/Jan 00, I don't even remember my name on NDose. Maybe it was just Dolphin.

Man... 10 years of GT (almost) Thats quite something really when you think about it. Over a third of my life. I was still at school when I signed up here, I found NDose in it's dying months an was led here, must have been, day 12 I signed up or something like that.

You got me beat. Joined sometime after the Dreamcast came out and was reading info on the other prospective new consoles. There was NintendoDolphin.com which had a cool animated Dolphin gif if I remember correctly, and NintendoDolphin.net where I settled and lost years of my youth.

I don't remember what Shooter did to be so hated, but looking at past posts, I certainly did. It's scary I've been off and on this site for so long... Cojiro sounds vaguely familiar under anotehr name but been so long, I don't recall.

Wasn't there a forum before Ndose? Not sure, i swear i remember there being three guises to GT. And after Ndose, didn't the forum split into two, GT and Advanced forums (maybe Advanced GB a name along those lines), anyone remember Advanced and where it maybe now (as in, still active).

On the topic, i don't think i was posting during this so-called hate shooter phase, i don't remember having a problem with him, many of those posts towards him on the past thread seem very childish.
