you dont need any ultras to get akuma... at least, i didnt have any, nor any supers for that matter. the info on gamefaqs when i read it was wrong, i did it the way they wanted and i had gotten nothing. it wasnt untill i did the very first 2 rounds as perfect that i got akuma. didnt do any supers or ultras.
gouken on the other hand... i did the first 3 as perfect then did as many ultras and supers as i could the remaining matches.
