Write stuff down. Make a journal. And find something you have interest in. Find a novel to read, start a blog, pick up an instrument, etc. Record progress, and stay on top of it.
A lot of it is really just finding something that genuinely interests you.
You do IT right? I did IT for a while...nothing like a job where you get to sit around and
think about stuff for 8 hours a day.
