Hey, only night time was horribly dark. The rest was decent.

And the majority of the time seemed to be night.

Re: Fable 2
Overall, I think Fable 2 is a definite imporvement over the first, espeically in the size of the game, but to me the game still didn't adress some of it's more glaring issues.
1) Items - The choice and diversity of weapons and items is still shallow at best. In a role playing game, especially an action rpg, items and weapons are EVERYTHING, and once again the Fable selection is weak.
2) The World - I've been playing for a while and Albion is beautiful but it all look beautiful in the same way for the most part, but I think I might be coming up ona significant shift in setting change in the game now. We'll see. As fior the the "life" of the world, it still seems a bit false. I think this has a lot to do with the sound fx. After playing Mass Effect and seeing how sounds can create such a lush and lively world, it's disappointing to see Fable falter on this.
3) The Story - I've skipped every dull piece of exposition in the game. A static camera with slow, plodding dialogue? Couldn't they have at least done cut scene's with in-game models and graphics? It's just lazy.
Overall, Fable 2 feels more like Oblivion for Kids than a real action RPG meant to survive on its own merits. It looks good and plays well, but in the end it still feels like it could have been so much better if someone else were in charge of these same ideas.

Re: Fable 2
While I still hold all the criticisms I had in the above post, I must also add that I am addicted to the game and have been playing it non-stop. It actually pulled me off of TF2, and that is an epic feat unto itself.
What Fable 2 does well, it does very well.

Re: Fable 2
Does anyone else’s game freeze on them? Mine freezes a ridiculous amount of time. So much so that’s its totally unplayable. I looked up other forums and found some other people having the same issue but not here. I looked at the support page at xbox but they didn’t even address the issue and I emailed lion head but they told me to talk to xbox about it.

Re: Fable 2
I think it froze once on me, and I've beaten the game twice now, and spent probably 70+ hours overall playing. I haven't had an issue.
