I usually pick random characters. It changes it up all the time, makes it more fun because you have to adapt.

But if I'm picking characters, I'll usually take Pikachu, Link or Sonic. I've been trying Zero Suit Samus lately, but I'm not too fond of her.

And sometimes I'll play as DK, just so I can be annoying, grab people, and walk off the edge of a level with them.

If you want to be more annoying, grab a character with Bowser's side B and fall of the stage. If you both have one stock left, it automatically makes Bowser the winner.. haha
