InFamous looked really cool, and I don't know how Zipper is going to pull off 256 player matches. If they can, I would think it would be pretty amazing.

$400 GB PS3 announced.

God of War III short trailer.

Did I miss anything else? (I got called away to go look at something)

P.S. HOME is looking a lot better, but I am disappointed that the beta isn't in the distant future.

Was anyone else hoping for a $50 price cut?

It might have pushed me over the edge to purchase a PS3...

When they announced the price drop of the 80 GB I assumed the 40 GB would get a temp price drop to clear out inventory.

Also, I think all 3 conferences were varying levels of dull. With MS being the most exciting due to the one huge surprise announcement.

Home has been out in beta guys. My co-worker has it, although he played it when it first came out so he said it didn't look like much then. That was a long while ago too.

The God of War 3 teaser failed.

I want screens. I want gameplay. COME ON.

That thing in Resistance 2 looked pretty nuts.

MAG looks crazy if they're able to pull it off.

I never saw anything related to LittleBigPlanet and it looked kinda interesting.

The new Ratchet and Clank looks cool. I liked playing Tools.

Then that's not a true beta. A beta, to my understanding, is a near-finished version of the game/content that is in the final testing phase. That being said, HOME shouldn't be near beta.

Hopefully Dyne can clear up this confusion from his experience with TUROK.

Yeah, beta usually just means they're pushing for no more bugs. Alpha means that the game is finally playable with minimal showstopper bugs. You need to register to get alpha status from Microsoft and Sony, or whoever is licencing your game. I think because Home is a different kind of experience, it's probably been alpha for a while.

Infamous was beyond amazing, Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty was fucking amazing, R2 looks phenomenal, along with the GoW 3 teaser which was epic, AND new firmware tonight for a video service. Sony provides greatness as usual.

Infamous is the new "superhero" game from the Sly Cooper guys. I remember it being shown, it was one of the last games.

platform action game with superhuman powers...in a city destroyed by some sort of explosion, you choose to use your powers for good or for evil doing.

from the limited footage i've seen just climbing all over the city will be fun. the platforming elements in Sly Cooper were great, and I have high expectations for this game.

Epic indeed.
