My efforts are futile while at work, but when I get home I can download skype. I assume skype is like AIM with a mic? So, I also assume I need to add people like AIM?

I think it can work one way.
If someone adds you. they are added to your list as well.

And I guess some sort of meeting tonight/tomorrow to see what the hell we are gonna talk about.

Alright, I will see what I can do, but I make no promises.
I did listen to the first and second GT Cast, and they were both good. I like to talk, so it would be fun. This is far more enticing than the GT IRC chat we used to have way long ago...it's crazy how far technology has come.
