Psh! Gears has a stronger MP component than any other game this gen! Gears sticks out as a unique style and game while these other FPS' tend to blend together and while being a bit different all are essentially the same thing.

But, I'll see all of you when Gears 2 comes out because if you had a problem with the MP in Gears 1 then you should be very impressed with all the new stuff in Gears 2. Matchmaking, lots of new game modes, etc.

Matchmaking is definitely a step in the right direction...

There would need to be some kind of legit CTF mode for me to play it though.

There is, they have CTF but it has been "Gears-ified" the flag you have to capture is an A.I. opponent who roams around the map and you have to knock him down and drag him to your area.

The guy will shoot at you and everything too so it seems pretty damn cool to me.

It was 3-2 when I went into the room, it wouldn't have been right t be 4-1.

I know people would eventually join, but I believe in a fair game.

Cam what was with you using a scout for defense on dustbowl. Youve told me that they are no good for defense on that level even though I was kicking ass. You hypocritical bastard. BOINK!

No, later on when it was almost full, we were lacking a player.......

That level of dustbowl is fine for it. The 3rd one with the rocket isnt so good.
