worst gift you have ever recieved?
One time I got a Kenny G album for Christmas, and I think I literally uttered "wtf" in front of several relatives. Not to be mean or anything, but Kenny G? I love classical, I have a hardon for Dvorak and Rimsky-Korsakov, and I'm quite partial to real jazz musicians like John Coltrane and Charles Mingus, but yeah. I was pissed, I think I gave the CD to my mom. I'm a rocker at heart, I like my Jazz avant-garde, Zorn style baby.
I also got an edited copy of Limb Bizkit's Significant Other. The only way you could possible make a Limp Bizkit album any worse is by editing it.
Anyway, those were two pretty super lame gifts I have recieved, mostly from relatives in the extended family.
I tell my relatives to send me money now.

Between his buggering of me to join the army (despite never having served himself), my religious right-wing uncle managed to hand me a box that contained a copy of The Purpose-Driven Life...

Re: worst gift you have ever recieved?
My aunt and uncle doted on my older sister and always gave her the best of everything ... When my sister graduated from high school, they gave her a new car. Three years later, I got a card with a measly, worthless $50 in it. You wouldn't believed how pissed I was. Giving me $50 was equivalent to being slapped across the face. Needless to say, they didn't receive a thank-you note from me.

Re: worst gift you have ever recieved?
A gift's a gift, in my eyes.
I'm never mad at a gift I get. I don't think it's fair to be let down at something someone gives you as an act of kindness.
I just dislike being re-gifted, because that's really lame.

Re: worst gift you have ever recieved?
Hmm, probably my CD soundtrack of "The Fast and the Furious" while my brother got some awesome CD which I don't even remember now. This was in our stockings at christmas one year. It was like, well, we got this for your brother but then we saw this OTHER CD and decided to give this one to you.
And the worst part is, there really is no good song on the CD. The only one worth mentioning is the "Rollin'" Limp Bizkit remix, and even that's pretty shitty.
