Dilema
I need some help, people! Okay, I have about three hundred dollars that I will be spending shortly, and I want some advice from you people on what I should purchase. Here are the choices :
A) The new Kevin Garnett "And 1" basketball shoes and SpiderMan for PS2.
B) A DiscMan and SpiderMan for PS2
C) Nothing. Start saving your money, Joeiss!
So, please help me decide! I am not good at choosing easy things like this!

C because the only the thing I would buy in the other two choices would be Spider-Man, and even then for the GCN and not the PS2.

Well you pay for basically 2 things, size, and space.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't want a clunky-ass MP3 player. Most of the cheap ones with big storage will be big and fat, like the size of a discman. Others have much less storage (can only hold like as much as a CD), but are tiny, and actually portable.
Also, consider some things like a radio. Sometimes using the radio is a really nice feature. Some MP3 players also have room for an expansion card, to hold more songs if you wanna pay the cash.
Another thing to consider is what do they run on. Some run on normal batteries, others come with rechargable ones that charge when on the cradle, but can also be replaced with normal ones on the road if they die. Others only have internal batteries and you're screwed if it dies.
Now for my recommendation...
Apple iPod! Comes in 5GB and 10GB form. It's one of the smallest MP3 players on the market. It hooks up via FireWire so it transfers at high speeds, and also charges through the cable. It can be used as both a MP3 player and a portable FireWire HD. Also, it has one of the best (if not the best) organization metheods out there. The way you set up your playlists and everything is amazing. Also, there is an adapter so you can charge it without a FireWire computer nearby. 10 hour battery. On the 5GB model, you can travel from NYC, to LA, and back without ever hearing the same song twice. The 10GB model is insane, but mainly for peeps who want the portable HD. Also can display your contact list from MS Entourage, Palm Desktop, or Mac OS X address book. Did I mention the nice sized screen and backlight?
Only works on Mac. But I believe there are some programs that allow you to use it on Windows, if you have a fireWire connection. Best damn MP3 player ever made, only thing it needs is a FM radio.

I too would suggest the iPod. It's a little on the expensive side but it's the best thing out there.
And IMO, spending anymore than about $70 on shoes is just plain stupid. So be careful how much you blow..er..uh.. I mean spend on the shoes if that's the direction you're pushing your money towards...
If it were me, I would probably wait a week and think about my possible purchases, sometimes a week can change your mind and save you cash. And of course, there's always investing in stocks and bonds.

Yes, gekko's is right, the iPAQ isn't the best thing to hit the market.. but I could afford it, and it works (sucks batteries like nothing else).. so I'll keep it for now.

Yeah, one of my friends has the Apple iPod. It is amazing. He has the 5 GB one, I believe, and he has over 1,000 songs on it. I would love to get that, but I do not have a Mac computer, so yeah, that rules that one out.
And about the shoes, I think that I might wait until my foot is all healed up. This way, it can kind of be like a healing-present from my parents! Lol.

Like I said earlier, there are some programs out there that allow you to add songs to your iPod from your PC. You just need Firewire. Only thing that wouldn't give you is the contact list merging, which isn't a big deal. The first gen iPods didn't have that either, and only had a 5 hour battery life.
