Nice.

I'm not a huge follower of American football, but I like to watch whenever I can. And even though I don't know why Favre is so legendary, I know he is a legend. It's a really great tribute to him, imo.

let go of the past.
He retired.
Why not make the cover of NBA Live 09 Jordan?
The cover of NHL 09 Bure, Richard, Gretzky, Yzerman or Roy?

The cover symbolizes one of the best present players. Not one who was good last year.

It's not like he retired 10 years ago. I could understand your point if he had. But I think it's a "current" event.

So what?
The cover of sports games symbolize the best CURRENT athlete in that specific league.

Just because they've been using the best current athletes for the last whatever years doesn't mean it has to be done every time.

I remember Madden games having nothing but John Madden's face on them. He sure wasn't the best current athlete then, he just had his name in the title. Not the same thing maybe, but I'm trying to say that you can't make that a rule, especially when it's not something too important..

Well Ham did put up good numbers this year, but he could stand to improve. Of course you also have to blame the O-line for not giving him the sapce he needs. Put him on a better team and youll see what Ham can do.
