Why Christmas Just isn't the Same Anymore

Christmas/holidays have lost meaning in terms of what it should be more about. I've stopped asking for gifts for Xmas and just only say something if someone asks and even then, I tell them I don't need anything and just ask for something small.

Its too commercialized and alot of us Americans are too damn stupid to see it yet. Retail sector needs to get hit hard for one "season" to have a wakeup call. It wouldn't even bother me if retail had a horrible sales season. They are the idiots commercializing it, and its never going to end. So I just let my wallet do the talking.
