Gotta mention what I'd rather have backward compatiility personally... but my Ps2 isn't bad, I wouldn't mind keeping it. The $100 more for having to operate one less system isn't exactly worth it :P

That is too bad they took away backward compatibility. Must have been a cost cutting measure.

Yeah, can't argue with that.

Playing the good PS2 games would discourage me from buying the half-assed, new PS3 games.
