That's because you don't read the World of Warcraft forums.

Blizzard representatives that post on the forum have blue text, and so the general term when referring to a Blizzard representative is 'Blue'.

Every time a 'Blue' says something on the forums, the whole community races to post 'First!' afterwards. It's something that started a while back and quickly got uncontrollably out of hand.

You gotta read an obnoxiously over-populated forum sometime, like the WoW forums (apparently) or the IGN forums. It makes you want to take every one of the people on the forum and spit in their face.

Then again, don't read those forums.

Not just WoW forums. News sites which allow user comments have suffered from it for a long while.
