Well, I'm not surprised by the Wii's strong sales. Although I still think it remains to be seen if it will have any staying power. The Wii's attach rate is fairly lower than the 360's.

It's also interesting to note the 360 outsold the PS3 even with the PS3's "price cut that's not really a price cut."

So apparently Wii software can sell.
Granted same issue as before where it's mostly first party.
On the same hand nothing of note was really released in July for any of the consolees I think.

A good chunk of Wii owners buy the Wii primarily for Wii Sports then slowly venture into other games. Thats why the attach rate is much lower from my perspective

I assume that Wii Sports does not figure into attach rate?
