Vick is Done
Quote:
When a Bad Newz Kennels dog was wounded in a losing fight, NFL star Michael Vick was consulted before the animal was doused with water and electrocuted.

Re: Vick is Done
Agreed. I was never that fond of him as a football player and now I am certainly not fond of him as a person. Only the scum of the earth do those kind of things to animals.

How pissed off are the Falcons now that they traded Matt Shaub?

Re: Vick is Done
IF he actually had dogs hanged, drowned and electrocuted the man deserves to not only have his athletic career terminated (on top of jail time), but a lifetime worth of negative press as well. What a sick person...I've always thought you could tell a lot about a person's character and moral value by the way they treat animals.

Re: Vick is Done
I'm actually waiting for what the commish has to say. Pacman Jones hasn't had any Jail time (as of yet) but he has been suspended for a season. What really makes this intresting is that Vick is a Superstar. He may be an idiot, but that dude brings in so much $$$ with just his Jersey.
I really hope that the Commisioner sticks to his new policy and suspends anybody (and I do mean ANYBODY) that brings a bad rep to the NFL. And as of right now, Vick does look worse for the NFL then Tank Johnson and Pacman Jones.

Re: Vick is Done
Vick has been banned from training camp. A good first step to ending an overblown and annoying career.

Some more news:

Vick co-defendant reportedly strikes deal
July 28, 2007
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick's hope of playing football this season might have took another major blow.
According to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Friday, one of the men facing federal dogfighting charges along with Vick is discussing a possible plea deal with prosecutors.
Tony Taylor, 34, has a plea agreement hearing scheduled for early Monday in the U.S. District Court in Richmond, Virginia before Judge Henry E. Hudson. Court records show a sealed order signed by Hudson was issued, which could be related to Taylor's plea attempt.
