This is true enough, but TV has also influenced a positive action or change has it not? Its also opened our eyes to things like war, case in point the Vietnam War ; the first televised war. Reporters were able to go around anywhere and document violent acts like the massacre at My Lai. The TV showed its power there, and as a result the US have embedded reporters from now on. Just thought i should add my two cents that Television is many a number of things.
