In the 21st century, according to
The Economist magazine, one out of every eight countries around the world is fighting a civil war. And do you really think that this stat is true because there is TV in this world? Please... that is insane.
Also think back in the 70's and 80's (if you were alive) when you got on a plane, you could take your nail clippers. You didn't have to be phyiscally searched just to get on a plane (metal dectors worked just fine)... your shoes remained on at all times while at the Airport. I'm not saying that there wasn't a threat before that, there were actaully many attacks. But things have gotten worse. Look at Scotland Today. If you don't know what I'm talking about watch CNN or MSNBC.
I think that TV helps spread the fear of Violence. Just my two cents.
