Good news guys. Apparently the PS3 sold quite well over the weekend, shattering previous console launch sales records.

600,000 systems sold with plenty of supply left.

Yeah I have to say, not bad.

If I'm allowed to play the fanboy here: the console was out months later than in the rest of the world. That meant more supply and probably more demand too.

im still quite positive that demand would have been higher during the holliday season, though
