A lot better than the real Wii commercials, if only because it doesn't have the stupid bowing ies with the goofy sound effect that they probably recorded from a Wiimote speaker.

I was afraid someone might like them. Do you really? I guess I like the bowing ies idea, especially if Nintendo is aiming to tie the logo together with the commercial that has those bowing Japanese guys that travel around letting people try out the Wii (speaking of which I have yet to see on regular TV). But that sound effect is the cheesiest sound they could have picked. It sounds like some old sound effect from some old NES game.

my take on it was the i's are going to be doing different things depending on the commercial. and yes they're emulating the bowing Japanese guys. (you havnt seen those commercials on tv? i keep seeing em all the time and i fast forward through commercials)


but they all have some stupid sound effect that goes with em. this one doenst really seem any different from consoles past and present.


[edit:] and actually, some/most of thoes commercials (ones with the japanese guys) dont even have a sound effect at all when the i's bow
