Re: Nintendo's next console
Same thing, better graphics. Controller will have better rumble and possibly have a rotating part, or folding part?
Will this be a short generation for nintendo, like the last one was for microsoft? I'm betting so.

Re: Nintendo's next console
I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but this is what peeves me about GT.
There's so much Nintendo fanboyism that when a new Nintendo console comes out, a thread is made to talk about what the NEXT one might be like.

Well, I hope I don't sound like a fanboy, but aren't you the least bit interested? I'm also interested in what the PS4 or the XBOX.....720? the next Xbox will be like, but I also have a good inkling of what those two might be (better graphics and some elements of the Wiimote included in their new controllers).
The next Nintendo on the other hand, will probably have some elements of the Wiimote included in their new controller and better graphics. See the difference?
Wait...

Re: Nintendo's next console
I don't see what's so fanboy about wondering what the next console will be like, even if the current one is so recently made.
If people started saying "Wii will be number 1" then yeh that's fanboy, but what's the harm in pondering about the next console after the Wii?? Or any of the other consoles for that matter?

Hah 720... I've been thinking of that as well. It's just natural to want to speculate on what the companies will do next. Sony is less interesting because we all pretty much assume it will be called PS4 and follow the same pattern, but you can't really tell with MS and Nintendo.

It could be PSF0UR.....or PS FOR U! (ps for you) Or PS WHORE
Or Microsoft could have xobx180, and do a complete 180 on their console design/ideas and come up with something freaky. And ppl will be like "have you seen the Xobx180, they've done a complete 180 ......

Re: Nintendo's next console
Another step in immersion. I'll let Nintendo pick. By the time I'm on my deathbed I just want there to be a virtual world that will be almost indistinguishable from reality. Live out my dying days riding dragons, fighting aliens, or just relaxing on a quiet beach. Perhaps we'll upload our memories by then...but then there's the whole being a copy thing and not really you living as an immortal...
...so um, maybe that device that resists pressure that many thought was the secret controller. Personally would like 3D visor/goggles. Can play the game normally on the TV screen but for the 3D effect the goggles would be needed. And perhaps make it so that you won't go blind. So, real 3D technology with an improved controller akin to the wiimote with moment in space...could even add the pressure device to it to really immerse you but I think that needs to be stationary to resist against you.
