No, I'm pretty sure anybody can search for the key, we just don't have access to all of the clues.

I'm so lost. I had an idea awhile ago, but it didn't pan out. I'm not sure how to solve the poem, so I guess you could say I'm pretty lost...

Is Clue #3 supposed to look like a math equation?

It has already been solved by at least one person.

I'll go ahead and continue with the hunt then. Many of your questions will be answered as new clues are revealed.

Btw I've completed the forum restructuring design. I have just have to pull myself away from work and WoW long enough to implement it.
