the original has been on DVD for a long long time now. you mean they re released it again?

anywho, i bought it on DVD way way back. really is a great movie.... and i knew this new one would be a pile of crap from the get go. whcih is really sad because most people never heard of the original, and now they'll think of only the new one when hearing the name

Which is exactly why I started this topic on this small forum where probably nobody will pay attention except you because you've already seen the original!

But yeah, they re-released it on DVD... It's got like... new packaging now.. I'm not sure when exactly they discontinued the original DVD (probably as soon as they put the new one into production ), but it couldn't have been too long ago, as I've only owned the movie for maybe a year or so?

I'd really like to get ahold of the limited edition (comes in a wooden box, contains the 99 minute version of the film), but they only made 50,000 of them and it'd probably cost me 100+ bucks...
