Why didn't they show any screens of the music conducting game?

So was anyone else disappointed by Metroid Prime 3? I mean, I thought it was Metroid Prime 1, or possibly 2, when it came up on the screen. Playing MP with a new controller should be cool, but it doesn't look any different from the last two games...

In terms of quality, or style, or what?

The style I hardly expected to change. It's a Metroid Prime title, and the last in the series. It's gonna be similar. The graphical quality is certainly a step up from the last two, though it's hard to tell if you don't know what changed. First of all, the textures are a good bit more detailed than in the last; and second, the particle effects have gotten a fair bit of attention.

But either way, it's gonna look better. The game isn't being made for launch, it's at least another year off. Nintendo has plenty of time to polish it.

Is it just more or are the graphics worse than the GameCube?

yes, dissapointed... as i have been from the other games too... aside from zelda as long as its still GC, i dont have to buy hardware thats not a step up.. or spend an outragous amount of money... i cant wait to actually try my GC. wonder what it will be like

and all these trailers are absolutly halarious to watch... the Metroid prime 3 one... woulda been fine.. then it shows the idiot behind his chair looking over his shoulder then dives out... lol.
ok, playin the game, wait wait enemies! i have to get up and hide behind my chair hold on!
ok ready!
*drives out, misses the shot, crashes into a table and breaks neck*

then we got the mario trailer... where in almost every single picture of the girl using the wiimote, all shes doing is waving it back and forth and some how mario is doing all kinds of things on screen! lol.

wish they'd actually show what each thing is doing.

The cube has a comfy controller.

I must agree, the people in the videos look absurd.

Yea, the took the people in the videos a little too far. I think I realised this at the point I saw the guy playing metroid Prime 3 actually croutch into a ball. Thats rediculous. And yea, Metroid Prime 3 dosent to me look any better than 2.

Mario looks great though, as does Zelda.

So, I guess I'll have to go pre-order the Wii-Zelda, too... Stupid companies wanting to make stupid money...

Zelda looks good, can't say that I'm not excited. I wish it would come out earlier though. It's still a huge kiss-off to the Cube which Nintendo didn't even bring up when they started talking about Zelda.
