Others could be, but as a possible PS3 purchaser, only the free online intrigues me.

What excites you, then? I'm interested in knowing; you didn't really say anything.

Re: Game Developers Conference Updates...BIG NEWS!
it definitely perked my interest, and sounds fantastic, yet I agree with Dyne... nothing there is really "BIG NEWS."

Re: Game Developers Conference Updates...BIG NEWS!
ummm....what did they mean by broadband connection required? I suspect its just to play online since I dont think Sony wants to alienate non-broadband owners from at least using the console.
I mainly just want to see the realtime demo's but graphic's dont make a game great, gameplay does so hopefully these supposed massively uber leet looking games have the gameplay to back it up.
Yes stu, feel free to rip into me also

realtime PS3 demos
im a big Insomniac / Ratchet and Clank fan, so thats 2 games right there being shown that interest me big time
very interested in warhawk
online network sounds hot...and free
and im glad that they keep on adding new features and functionality to the PSP...that combined with how PSP games are starting to look better and better in quality and quantity, it should provide for a really nice handheld for years to come

March 22, 2006 - In realtime today at GDC 2006's platform address on PS3, Warhawk was shown for the first time today. The realtime demo showed massive details across a gigantic battlefield.
In the demo, the game was shown with a full HUD of the new futuristic Warhawk ship. Across a massive battlefield, you could see ambient warfare everywhere, with background battles raging far away from you. Our editors report great lighting, volumetric cloud effects, and incredibly fast motion. One of the coolest events involved burning pieces of capital ships raining down and falling into the gorgeous ocean below.
