Usually back pocket, unless I have a leg pocket.

Maybe I'm just naturally aligned to the left because of karate. Left foot first is always easier for me.

Also, people must be wearing some pretty bad pants if it just hangs out.

Change and wallet go in the front left pocket always. Money to the left. Chap Stick, keys, and pens in the right...Others to the right. That is how I roll.

Change and pen in the front right, chapstick and keys in the front left.

Wallet goes back right. Cell phone goes front left. Keys, pocketknife, and change go front right. Anything else just feels wierd.
