So what's the deal with Gamemaster?

I think Gamemaster can be many things.

Gamemaster may be a 14 year old that is putting on a fake persona over the internet.
Gamemaster may be some middle aged fat nerd who builds computers in his spare time.
Gamemaster may be a pre-existing member, but acting as a different person.
Gamemaster may be a compilation of half a dozen people with the same account.

I don't know who GM is, but I'm sure that CamFuBot was GM. They both had the same style of writing.

I am GameMaster, or rather GameMaster is me. A few years ago, someone dared me to act like a deranged lunatic on a forum for many years to come, and I never turn down a dare.
