Just takes some practice. And find it easier if the handling of the kart is a lot more than its drift.

Play 50cc, all cups. It's a piece of cake to get 3 stars when it's so easy to boost all the time.

Got my 2 stars today. 
Gonna be mighty hard to get 3 on every single cup.
Was racing someone online on Figure-8. We're both snaking but my arm was so fatigued from playing today to get the 2 star ranking that I just couldn't pull it off. Never thought I'd lose a video game due to muscle fatigue. |

I've got them for 50/100/some of 150. The retro courses are pretty much a given for me.

I actually have more trouble on the retro courses. I didn't really get into the series untill DD. Played a little MK64 before but no 16bitness...well a dribble of Super Circuit but found Konami Crazy Racers to be a much better game so played more of that on GBA.
Got 3 stars for all 50/some for 100/and for some reason more 3 stars on 150 than 100/and so far just two 3 star cups on Mirror.
