Re: Zelda heading for Revolution?
I assumed it was unofficially moved to the Revolution the day it was pushed into 2006.

Re: Zelda heading for Revolution?
I don't know if it's such a good idea to release a major game like Zelda at the ass-end of a console's lifetime. Too many people are already moving on.

Re: Zelda heading for Revolution?
You mean the Super Metroid problem.
I think this will be less problematic, because of the backwards compatibility.
It would be a bigger problem to have a launch game that does the console no credit.

That was pretty much Majora's Mask, though. And that didn't stop me from loving it to death.

No, they should switch it over to the new console and rush the product out for launch...
Come now, Neo, the ass-end has it's fans...

Who's rushing? The game is basically complete. They just need to spruce up the visuals and maybe alter the control scheme to be compatible with the controller.

Of that I have little doubt.

Well, rushed in a next-gen sense... Depending on what Revolution is capable of visually (or even when it came to AI and such), it could come off as a great game, just neither really next-gen material, nor a totally new experience like Nintendo seems to be aiming for with their new system...
It'd have no real next-gen style, know what I'm saying?

Re: Zelda heading for Revolution?
Yeah I suppose that's true; the game wouldn't be built around the revolution. Though I don't think we can use that standard for every game on the Revolution because I bet many will not make use of the new controller. It will be interesting to see what % of games actually do utilize the controller.

Re: Zelda heading for Revolution?
"Several critics are pegging Twilight Princess as Game of the Year material, and the move into '06 won't change those predictions. Still, we've heard rumblings that the game won't make its summer ship date. And if so, does that mean Nintendo will give it a Revolution-ary makeover?"
This is apparently taken from the latest issue of EGM.
Take it as you will...
