I can guarantee you they would NOT be better than Metallica, if only for the reason that Metallica has been touring and putting out albums far longer than KISS. KISS was big for a few years in the 70's, they put out a DISCO song, their fanbase died, and they recently had a reunion of sorts with the make-up back on.

Meanwhile Metallica has been huge for about 25 years, and they've never had to put on a reunion tour as they never stopped because they have always been successful and their fans always stuck by them.

Game. Set. Match. Metallica > KISS. Its not even close.
