Xbox 360 backwards compatibility revealed
Check the list here
What's there: Well, a whole lot, really. Too many for me to mention.
What's not: Project Gotham series, Splinter Cell series, Burnout series, The Chronicles of Riddick and Jet Set Radio. Maybe some others that you were looking for, but those are the missing games I would have been interested in.

Re: Xbox 360 backwards compatibility revealed
Hopefully that list will grow as Xbox Live compatability may allow for other titles to be "patched" in the future.

Re: Xbox 360 backwards compatibility revealed
I honestly can't feel excited about the next gen consoles.
Xbox 360 is moderately better than it already was?
I get to way my hand around frantically to play Revolution games?
I get to use a controller for the PS3 that looks like a banana/boomerang/two pronged dildo?

Re: Xbox 360 backwards compatibility revealed
Why wouldn't all Xbox games be compatible on the 360?

Re: Xbox 360 backwards compatibility revealed
I think it's pretty effing lame they have Shamu's Deep Sea Adventure, but not Shenmue 2.
It's a crime.

It has to do with a new internal hardware structure. I went over it here:

Re: Xbox 360 backwards compatibility revealed
No Ghost Recon or MotoGP, or Crazy Taxi 3. Kinda disappointed, but I'm not buying a 360 to play old games, and my old saves are all on my Xbox.

Re: Xbox 360 backwards compatibility revealed
Fear not, little children! Perhaps the future holds your precious Shenmue, Chost Recon, MotoGP, Crazy Taxi, and other gems currently MIA...
And don't bash on Shamu...

Last guy who bashed Shamu...
And let's not forgot the movie Orca.
I would stay out of the water if I were you Dyne.

Re: Xbox 360 backwards compatibility revealed
I've seen Shamu in real life.
I laughed at the people who went in the wet zone.
