Default Re: Japanese vending machines

I live in PA and cigarrette machines were very common in bars until a couple years ago when regulators started cracking down on IDs. Now most bars sell cigarrettes from behind the bar, but there are still a few machines out there.

Vending used to be very popular in the US, too. In the 50's there were diners that had heated compartments that the cooks put food in. Put your money in the slot, open the door, and eat your rueben with a side of fries. I forget what they were called, though. My mom would remember. Old school glass bottled Coke machines were also very common and on nearly every street corner. They're incredibly valuable now.
