Re: American History X
I've been meaning to see it for a long time, ever sense I watched Fight Club, actually, because it got me interested in what other films Ed Norton has done and this is the one that cought my interest.

Re: American History X
I saw it way back on a movie channel when I was a lot younger. It definitely made a mark on me. I'd say it's a great movie but watching the shower scene was really weird and wrong for the age I watched it at.

Re: American History X
Its a great movie, and one of the best performances in Ed Norton's career. The scene where he curbs the guy is just gruesome without even showing any gore.

Re: American History X
I saw it a long long long time ago on TV, and it was actually on the other night, so I watched it again. I actually love it. Its up there with the Shawshank Redemption.

That's a really great point. I don't know if any scene ever made me squirm as much as that one and it doesn't show a drop of blood.

Re: American History X
lol Gekko...
i watched this movie when i was like 14 or 15 or something, not long after it came out on TV. very disturbing at my age somewhat...haven't seen it since, but would like to.
and i still remember the curb scene...it made me squirm as well....
