I watched this with my girlfriend expecting a decent romance movie, with some romantic scenes, good story, fun characters, but what I got was the worst chick flick I have seen in a long time. The only decently romantic part of the whole movie is the carnival scene at the start, and from that part on it just gets worse and worse. It is no longer romantic, nor is it funny, nor do you even develop any sort of feelings for the characters. Everything they do is unrealistic, and it's just a cookie cutter romance movie devoid of meaning.

The scenes involving the elderly couple also really pissed me off. That is not what Alzheimer's/Dementia is like at all. The dialogue for that part (and the rest of the movie) was ridiculous. "If you're a bird, I'm a bird" comes to mind.

Even my girlfriend thought that it was one of the worst chick flicks she'd ever seen.

Overrated garbage.
