I wasn't comparing them as political activists, I was comparing them as lonely desperate people who are starved for attention and are willing to accept negative attention in the stead of positive. They both are inflammatory idealogues who say things that even they can't possibly agree with at heart, especially Moore who knowingly deceives and misrepresents the truth. This is not unlike Sean Hannity and Anne Coulter either, who also would rather spout venom than have an intellectual discussion based on real issues.
This is what political discourse is quickly dumbing-down to now. Its no longer about public discourse, its about my side vs. your side. Gone are exchanges of ideas, and now all we see are platform talking points that people use to prove (mainly to themselves) that everyone else is 100%wrong and they are 100% right.
Its about ego, not right and wrong or what is good for the country.
