Meteos!
This game is incredibly addictive, and has more depth than any other puzzle game I've seen. The amount of modes and unlockables is astounding. I recommend this to everyone.
Anyone else pick this up?

Re: Meteos!
I'm about to.
Did you ever play Lumines? I'm worried that I'll have to split my time between both games, because Lumines is really good as it is.

Re: Meteos!
I never played Lumines because I only feel it necessary to own one portable system, and after a bit of decision making I opted for the DS over the PSP. It is by the same company, but they are completely different games from what I've read. Meteos is usually just a 3 minute game for each round, but you'll keep playing and playing.... and there are so many different planets, and items, and different modes of playing. It's amazing how much they crammed in there.

Re: Meteos!
Definitely gonna pick up Meteos once I complete Mario 64 DS 100%. EGM said Meteos is a better game than Lumines...that's um...reason...uh...right there...to get it?

Re: Meteos!
Aren't they both made by the same company? Therefore..... if one game does better then the other, it's a gain nonetheless.

Re: Meteos!
I think it's stupid to compare the two... they are both great games, and the real winners will be Q (if they sell a lot of copies), and those lucky bastards with both a PSP and a DS!

Re: Meteos!
I've played the java version of Lumines without any music or fancy graphics. So pure gameplay-wise it's pretty blah. Still itching to playe PSP's version though. 125 out of 150 stars in Mario 64. Come 150 Meteos is mine.

The flash game pales in comparison to the real thing. Seriously, it's not even close.
The best thing about Lumines is the beautiful levels and the hypnotic music that flows in sync with your actions...

Re: Meteos!
That's why I said pure gameplay-wise it's nothing special. Need the music and such to fully enjoy it.
