Default Re: Problem with my wireless network connection

Your wireless router should have an access IP address.

In any case, this usually happens if you have Ethernet connection enabled but you don't have a ethernet cable plugged in. Usually you have to disable your Ethernet connection "Disable" and not leave it as "Disconnected" so that your proxy settings default to the Wi Fi connection.

Possible Solution
Turn everything off, including your computer. Plug in the modem, plug in the router, let both run their course with the flashing lights. Then, turn on your computer.

If a bubble saying, "Windows has detected available wireless networks" click on it.
If not, go to Control Panel and View Wireless Network Connections.

If it detects them, connect to the router. Go to NETWORK CONNECTIONS and disable any other high-speed broadband connection except for the Wireless Network connection.
