I checked the site out this afternoon for half an hour or so and thats where I left off, didnt figure it out...so yeah, a hint would help

Hint: Highlight the whole page and there should be numbers. What do you need to do with those numbers? Find an ALTernative....

Hint: "View Source" and it says, "ASCII is an alternative."

Yeah he's making it very easy.

When I did ctrl+a in FF, it only selected the upper half of the page, so I didn't get the answer.

Hints are there to make things easier... it's not a hint if your just telling them what to do. You also have to explain a few things.

I don't believe I gave away the answer.... My hint was how to get the answer, and its up to them to get it.

thats basicaly the answer...compare your hints to mine...i said the exact same thing you did with MUCH less detail...rather they still have to figure it out.
