Rotten Watch: Batman Begins

Well, its kind of sad no one else is participating in this thread.. is no one else looking forward to the movie or do they fear spoilers?

Anyhow, I wanted to point out that the movie is now at 83% fresh with an average rating of 7.4

i still hate the batmobile, i think thats just stupid. but i'll go see the movie.

I personally find it refreshing that the Batmobile actually looks useful. I always thought that the whole tricked out sports car thing going with the other Batmobiles (especially the ones in Batman Forever and & Robin) just didn't really fit... Way to flashy and not at all scary or intimidating.

Yeah I have to agree with you on that one.. of the 4 Batmobiles.. I would probably crap myself if I saw this one barrelling down the street at me.

Also I try to explain to people that this is an origin movie, the first thing you do when you want to fight crime is not get a tricked out speedster. You get something you have access to and you get something with power. If you see this thing in action, you know its the most badass batmobile so far.

batman 3 and 4 dont even count as batman movies.



and thats exactly the problem, the new batmobile looks more hightech and newer then the real batmobiles and this is supposed to be when he's just starting off. he shouldnt even have a batmobile yet.

it looks like batman is driving around in a monster truck.

You're forgeting that Batman is Bruce Wayne; he's freaking rich and has access to pretty much every single piece of technology his company has ever made. Batman could very well have a Batmobile from the very moment he decides to be Batman.
