Heh, if I have to pay, I'll just play them on my previous consoles. I kept them for a reason.

I consider my comp my video game time machine. The ability to download old Nintendo games doesn't impress me much. Though I guess now I could play N64 titles without all the glitches and better control. And they pretty much released all their Nintendo-brand games on GBA...and now N64 on DS. This is another excuse for them not to make new games. Look how long it took for a new 2D Mario game to be released...over a decade. And it's not like (real) 3D Mario games come out frequently either...one a console doesn't cut it. Give Mario tennis elbow and go fight the good fight.

It's a crafty marketing plan, I'll give Nintendo that. In a way, it's nice, because it allows younger generations to play all these great classic games that they missed. At the same time, it makes sense that the Xbox and the PS3 have more appeal to the older generation. Regardless, if there becomes a way to rip old videogame onto the Revolution without paying, then I'm sold sold and sold. If not, then I probably won't be investing much into Nintendo's little emulation system, say maybe Majora's Mask and Perfect Dark. I never beat Majora's Mask, and if it's not flat out emulating the game, I'd like to run Perfect Dark with a nice framerate just once.
