Where do the GC games go? Whats going to prevent me from sticking a GC disc down the left side of the disc slot?

Says who? You can see something beneath the 'blue thing', it could be a seperate GCN drive.
Of course that might make it more expensive, I don't know.....

Wow... that has to be the most un educated answer I've heard...
He's asking if he sticks a GCN disc into the big blue slot-loader, what prevents it from getting the GCN disc stuck...
small discs like that need either a fitted slot loader or a small tray loader...

Re: NEW Revolution pics
I know that, but what I'm saying that because the GC disc is smaller than the discs they are going to be using for the Revolution, whats going to prevent me from sliding the GC disc in at the wrong spot or how is that part going to work where it centers the GC disc correctly?

Re: NEW Revolution pics
It's a slot loading drive, all you have to do is slide it in the center and the machine will correctly align it. My iMac does the same thing. I think there's only a small section of that blue strip where a disc will actually be accepted. If you try to shove it in near the side, it won't work. If I hear one more person critisize Project Revolution's architecture, I'm closing the thread and banning the offender.

I wasn't criticizing the architecture, I actually love the design. I really didn't know how it worked so thats why I asked. Thanks for the clarification GameMaster

honestly... thats why this is a unfinished hardware design like ps3's design.
quite possibly they may add like little guides to insert your GCN disc at a certain spot...

Re: NEW Revolution pics
Well, a lot of you already get it, but there seems to be some confusion about the controller/memory-card locations. The system contains 512 MB of flash memory to be used for game saves. On top of that, you can also use SD flash cards that will probably insert into the slots on the side and you'll still be able to close the little door.
As for discs getting stuck, I really don't see it as an issue. Gamemaster just gave his iMac up for example.
Think of there being little metal bars in the tray. I'll number them.
[-1-2-3-4-5]
If 2, 3, and 4 are pushed, it will accept the GC disc and slide it to the proper location. If you try to push it in the side ones, it won't let the disc go in because it has guards to prevent it. If you push in a standard DVD then 3, then 2 and 4, then 1 and 5 will get pushed and it only accepts the disc as these increments are observed.
