Why not? we had to wait till the last minute to see gamecube and its controller too.

I think at the first E3 sony and MS showed off thier stuff, nintendo ran a couple tech demos. had to wait till the year after to see the GC.

They're smart. By next year PS3 is gonna be old news. Nintendo has given themselves another year of fan speculation and hype.

Yeah, Nintendo is just stripteasing us, showing us a little bit of something for a short period of time before showing something else...

sounds oddly familar, oh yes. that stratagy has worked well for them in the past. lol

honestly, not a smart move at all. thier fans wanna see hype, they want to KNOW what they're wating for. some of nintendos userbase is either going to go out and buy an 360, or decide on PS3, BEFORE evolution is even shown. then when its shown its like, oh well, already reserved or bought something else.

they didnt have to show everything, but they needed to give people a reason to wait for em.

I got hype coming out every orifice for Twilight Princess. I couldn't care less for next gen right now. Even now those PS3 videos are a distant memory...gah, can't stop watching the trailer.
