That site's information is compiled largely by user submissions...

It's not called Centralia or "Silent Hill: Centralia"... Centralia is the name of a (mostly abandoned) town in PA where an underground coal mine fire has been burning for about 40 years...

They were using it as a 'code name' (like how Return of the Jedi was called "Blue Harvest" or something) as an attempt to keep crazy fans away from the set (didn't work)...

When the name Centralia popped up as the name of the movie, all the fans flipped out and were like "OMFGZ WHY WOULD THEY CHANGE THE NAME!! *online petition*"... Fanboys are hilarious...

it was like the worst-kept secret ever in the movie industry...
