While 40 bucks is cheaper than a TI-83... it's still not a bargain (unless you use the TI-83 for your job or something). I can't imagine any test allowing a DS to be used  . Even if it is just a TI-83 program. People are paranoid.

TI's dont have a wireless network were you can talk to other classmates during a test. lol
sure its really easy to cheat with a Ti, but you cant actually talk to other people thro it. while it is cool to see, and might even be useful once and a while, i certainly wouldnt pay money for it when i could just get the real calculator

Why pay money for a real calculator when a free one comes bundled in Microsoft and Apple's operating systems? If you have the money, knock yourself out. Otherwise, be sensible.

Hardly free when your buying the whole computer  only free one is brainpower as you said. but as i said, its a neat little thing for the DS, but i sure as hell wouldnt pay money for it.
