Halo 2.5 For Real?

It doesn't seem like a good idea to charge for the maps. What about those who just don't want to spend the money but still want to play online? How will the game know to match those who do have the maps with those who don't?

That's not really that hard, they could either not show up for them, or the different versions could have seperate chat/gamemaking systems (like in Warcraft 3 / TFT).
