PSP Pre-orders Sell out

of course that is by area, and when they say sold out its a rough estimate. nothings ever 100% sold out. if i wanted one, id be willing to bet money i'd find one in stores well before christmas. i've never seen 1 thing video game related that i couldnt get ahold of if i wanted to. .

i remember they were saying all that about halo2, if you dont reserve you wont be getting one for a while and stuff like that. a couple days after launch i went into eb's and they had bout 20 or so left.

thats because it's halo 2..... and i would bet microsoft would ship a surplus to game retail stores.

but i read in Gameinformer about the delay in Europe. The reason NA customers that didn't pre-order won't be getting a PSP until November is because of the European release.

NA gets PSP and 20 launch titles on March 23rd. And NA is slated to receive 4 shipments of the PSP. Over the course of 2 months. April and May.....

June/July is the European release, and all shipments will then be diverted to European launch. So North America won't get replenishment until November.

halo2 was just an example. All im saying is sold out doesnt really mean every single one was bought. i guarentee i could find one in store the week after it launches.

Sold out may mean its hard to find in most areas, or that estimates show that all were bought. but its not an exact calculation theres always some around here and there that wernt bought up..

I know.... I'm saying that the pre-orders were sold out. And those who didn't pre-order may not get one until November.

It's not a sure fire statement saying there won't be any PSP's on the shelves until November if you didn't pre-order one.
