Idea!

Hopefully one of the companies will put an infared device in their console so you can set up a PS2 remote to watch DVDs.

The PS3 is confirmed by PSM to have 2 bluetooth thumbs and 4 controller ports.

Meaning 6 player action if you have 4 controllers and 2 bluetooth controllers.

That seems kind of crazy. 6 people? How would that work on some games like FPS or racing games?

I have a feeling that if a bluetooth port is in use, then one of the regular controller ports would be disabled, so a max of 4 players could play.

No, PSM stated a max of 6 players at a time and a multitap accessory to buy 2 more ports.

Max 6 players doesn't include FPS and Racing. You know how Xbox has 4 ports and some games come out and say 1-2 players?

Not all games will support 6 players, but the games that support them will usually be the basketball games, the 3 on 3's.

I coulda sworn the big thing PSM had last issue was them creating thier own mockup of how the PS3 MIGHT look (and what features it might have) based on chatter they've heard from Sony and other companies...

Nothing official... Just a professional mockup

Like they had 2 old-school controller ports (for backwards compatibility), but 4 wireless sensor ports for the PS3's standard wireless controllers...

But again, that's just speculation...
