Re: Zelda Trailer
It may look like LOTR but a lot of it is based on Norse mythology and Viking mythology.
From LOTR we have the fire guardian, it a lot of cases called Ifrit.
The big tree Ents are a huge figure in norse mythology.
Its no surprise to me if Zelda is based on Norse mythology too.
and your wrong about it being best graphics this generation......
I'd still have to say Gran Turismo 4 by far.... still has the best graphics I've ever seen........ ESPECIALLY on the PS2... (VUP's anyone?)

...wow...
...damn...
...I agree with Jonbo...
...forget GT4...
*ahem!*
...Anyway, what do you think the name of this new Zelda is going to be?
Im thinking, The Legend of Zelda: Howl of the Moon ... because of the end scene with the wolf and the HUGE moon...

Wee!! I like!
It looks like it is going to be quite the compelling game. Now all it needs is a good story and we have ourselves an epic, boys and girls!

Re: Zelda Trailer
I just had an orgasm.
I just had another orgasm.
*stops having orgasms
That game looks fantastic!
Of course, hopefully that's how most of the gameplay will be.....I know they said it was going to be dark, and that certainly looked dark! I can't wait to try out this pimped fire arrows.

Re: Zelda Trailer
Definetly the best looking Zelda ever, and I am willing to bet the best Zelda ever. It rips off LOTR, but I loved the movies and the books, it just means the New Zelda will be bad a$$.
I own GT4 and it aint got nothing on Zelda.

Re: Zelda Trailer
I hope they polish off links movments and stuff in the game tho. right now it just doesnt look right in many cases. expecially when he jumped backwards and did the flip. he needs to move a bit more lifelike.

Re: Zelda Trailer
Looks preeeetty sweet!
Of course good graphics doesn't automatically = Good game...
But the fact that it's a Zelda game does
I like the monster design, it seems a bit on the darker side... And the enviornments look amazing...
Now here's hoping any townsfolk in the game won't have extremely huge heads with insane smiles on their faces as they prance around town...

Re: Zelda Trailer
Oh yes that's another thing I noticed: Link is much taller. Look at his body perspectives, it's even more adult than in OoT. He even looks a bit clumsy like that...
*watches it again*
Oh yeah, where does he do a backflip?
Taking over other mounts!! !!!
BlueFire (beneath me): they can always come up with a weak story where suddenly the water lowers and Hyrule is back again.

I hope there are a few towns and villages.. Not just Kakariko and Hyrule town. huge cities full of life.
Im kinda excited as to what the storyline is. It is confirmed to be a sequel to WW, so.. are they trying to conquer this new land or explore this new land?
*waits*
